TEA MENTORSHIP
Supporting Journeys of Personal Practice and Ceremonial Service with the Medicine of Tea
Tea Mentorship is a space of one-on-one support and initiation for those on a journey of communing with tea in a personal practice and plant medicine, as well as for those walking a practitioner path of ceremonial tea service.
Together, we will explore the practical and energetic aspects of tea as a medicine and a way of relating to life through the lens of the Cha Dao lineage , with an emphasis on learning and refining practical skills, self-cultivation and personal transformation through ceremony. You will be empowered and encouraged to tend an intimate relationship with the plant spirit of tea as a healer, teacher, friend and guide, and to connect deeper with your own personal medicine through your ceremonial practice.
INTRODUCTION TO CHA DAO
A Series of Educational & Experiential Classes to Initiate Your Personal Cha Dao Tea Ceremony Practice
This offering is intended as a comprehensive introduction to starting one’s own tea practice in the foundational brewing method as taught in the Cha Dao tradition- leaves in a bowl ceremony.
Through these educational and experiential sessions, you will cultivate understanding of the foundational lineage teachings, learn the practical “how-to” of serving tea ceremonially and experience the life-changing benefits of creating your own personal practice.
This series is suitable for those desiring to cultivate a personal practice and those who feel called to the path of tea service.
Class One: Introduction to Cha Dao, Tea as A Medicine and Leaves in A Bowl Ceremony
Class Two: The Five Basics of Tea Brewing, Ceremony Energetics and Skill Practice
Class Three: Elemental Alchemy and Serving A Leaves in a Bowl Ceremony
Class Four: Introduction to Sidehandle Brewing and Final Practice Session
CONTAINER DETAILS
It is recommended to take the classes over an 8-week period, creating space for two weeks of integration and practice between classes. This can be adjusted for longer or shorter duration, if needed.
We can meet in-person at the Medicine Temple space or virtually via Zoom. Each class is two to three hours long and will include structured teachings and experiential practice.
I provide a guidebook with class materials and tea resources.
EXCHANGE
The four class series is $888.
You can also add access to my foundational tea course, Earth & Ether, for an additional $111. This course offers a depth and breadth of teachings that can supplement and greatly enhance your learning experience and initiation into ceremonial spaceholding with tea.
For those desiring more intimate, transformational support in-between sessions for cultivating your practice, receiving reflection and guidance for your personal process of self-cultivation and deepening your relationship with tea in-between sessions, there is an option to add WhatsApp text and voice note support for a total exchange of $1,500 (held as an eight-week container). This also includes access to the Earth & Ether course.
Add a ceramic tea bowl for $30. Tea leaves are also available for purchase.
SINGLE TEA MENTORSHIP SESSIONS
After completing the Introduction to Cha Dao series, single sessions can be scheduled, as desired, for continued instruction and guidance.
Single sessions are also available for those who already have an established tea practice or are in active service.
